Institutional Investors Acquire Substantial Stake in Vikas Lifecare Ltd (VLL); Joint Venture with Indraprastha Gas Ltd for Smart Gas Meters Manufacturing
In a recent development, institutional investors have shown significant interest in Vikas Lifecare Ltd (VLL), acquiring a substantial stake through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). The company allotted 7,40,70,000 equity shares to Foreign Institutional Investors, indicating confidence in VLL's growth trajectory.
Simultaneously, VLL solidified its position in the market by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) for manufacturing smart gas meters in India. This strategic partnership, established under a 51:49 ratio agreement, marks a significant step towards technological advancement in the energy sector.
The joint venture, named IGL Genesis (IGTL), has commenced the establishment of a Smart Gas Meters facility in India, with half of the project cost funded through capital contributions from IGL and GGSPL. Leveraging cutting-edge technology from Hangzhou Beta Meter, the facility aims to deliver precise and reliable gas measurements tailored to local requirements.
Additionally, VLL's diversification efforts extend beyond traditional sectors into entertainment, with recent acquisitions marking its entry into the industry. The appointment of industry veteran Mr. Suresh Menon to the Board of Directors underscores VLL's commitment to exponential growth in this new venture. With Mr. Menon's extensive experience in the entertainment industry and established networks in the Middle East and Asia, VLL is poised for strategic expansion and market penetration.
Trading on both BSE and NSE, VLL has demonstrated resilience and adaptability, reflected in its multibagger returns of 160% from its 52-week low. As an evolving company with aggressive growth plans, VLL continues to attract investor attention and drive innovation across diverse sectors.
